This Privacy Policy explains how Gramshree Agri Services Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use the Matsya Seva Kendra mobile application ("App").
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email and profile photo from Google sign-in, and your phone number if you verify one.
- Pond and farm data you enter: pond details, boundaries, area, fish species, feeding and culture records, and photos you capture (including their GPS location when you take geotagged photos).
- Location: your approximate/precise location, with your permission, to show nearby providers and to stamp pond photos.
- Device and usage data: a device notification token, app version, and basic analytics and crash reports to keep the App working.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the App's features (ponds, feeding reminders, discovery, schemes, training).
- To connect you with sellers, experts and other farmers when you send an enquiry or choose to make a pond public.
- To send notifications you have allowed (such as feeding reminders and updates).
- To maintain security, prevent misuse, and improve the App.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only: with other users when you choose to (e.g. a pond you mark public, or an enquiry you send to a provider); with service providers who help us run the App (such as Google Firebase for sign-in, notifications and crash reporting); and where required by law.
4. Location and photos
Location is used only while you use relevant features and to add a GPS stamp to pond photos you capture. You can turn off location and camera permissions in your device settings, though some features will then not work.
5. Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Children
The App is not directed at children under 18 without guardian supervision.
8. Your choices
You can control notification, location and camera permissions in your device settings, and request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
